Short, Not So Sweet: Jatin Khandelwal cracks the right dose of sweetness for a literary feast

Short, Not So Sweet: Jatin Khandelwal cracks the right dose of sweetness for a literary feast

‘Short, Not So Sweet’ is a collection of 14 fast paced stories written by author Mr. Jatin Khandelwal. Gone are those days when a reader used to thrive for simple, short and sweet stories. At present, it’s important for an author to understand the right dose of sweetness that the readers are looking for. Mr. Khandelwal perfectly succeeds in that. His collection will appease a wide range of readers.

Most of the stories are unique in nature. However, the setting and the characters are easy to relate. This makes the reading experience greatly awesome. Couple of stories which stand out are ‘Biryani’ and ‘The other half’. In these two stories Mr. Jatin takes the reading experience to an entirely different level altogether.

The only problem with ‘Short, Not So Sweet’ is that Mr. Jatin had set such a great benchmark for himself with this story that every time, he comes us with a new book, the readers will be comparing his writing with ‘Short, Not So Sweet.’ However, the glimpses which Mr. Jatin Khandelwal had shown in this book, we’re pretty confident he’ll live up to the expectation to the fullest.
