5 Questions of the Inquisitive Ape; An Interesting Book Written By Subhrashis Adhikari

5 Questions of the Inquisitive Ape; An Interesting Book Written By Subhrashis Adhikari

“Physics said let there be stardust, and there was stardust. Chemistry turned the dust into organic matter and biology breathed life into these proteins. Then evolution sculpted the apes.”

Have you ever wondered how humans evolved miraculously from specs of dust created during Big Bang? Of course, you have. Leaving the super mysterious questions of this universe aside, we always have answers related to things that happen to us through stories we have heard over generations. These stories become our identity. Some of them are hardwired in our brain through genes, while others we imbibe over time through culture.

An accidental mutation gave us language, and language gave us moral uplift and edification. Language helped us weave stories. No wonder we are at the top of the food chain since we build on knowledge through these stories. History has been maneuvered by the means of such stories and will continue to do so.How much of these stories are reality, and how much of our perceived reality is a hallucination? Rainbow does not have seven colors, yet most of us believe that it does because we heard this story from our childhood. How can we unlearn the rainbow? How can we train the 1.2 kg protein inside our brain? The answer to happiness lies in that very question.

We needed stories in the beginning of our lives to survive, to grow and not to lie down when things got tough. With the technology making absurd changes to environment and global warming increasing at a rate never before, these times require stories too. What story will it be? The ones that foster discrimination and bigotry, or the ones that promote love. We all have the power to make that choice together. With power of these stories we can lay the foundation of a safer planet, a safer home for a species that never stops, that has evolved from apes to humans and continues…

This book will help you understand where you came from, how you make sense of things, about contradictory human sexuality, and about who you truly are. It will make you realize the necessity of new stories and the foundation that is required to be built in our lives to have a sustainable future. And, finally it will reveal the secret to happy life.
