Pain is the cost of living and while we all live, there will always be something tying us like a knot. Knots are what bind love and sorrow together.
‘Knots’ is the collection of poems and prose penned by the young poetess Deblina Bhattacharya. In her book, she draws a similarity between adoration and despair and unjust and fair.
The poetry resonates a rhythm of despondence but has undertones of elation. Deblina is currently studying English Literature. Her roots take her back to the land of arts and artists ‘Kolkata’. Her heritage and style of writing make her a poetess beyond her years.
While Knots is a close interpretation of her existence in rhymes and rhythms, her upcoming projects include a romance novel called Dear Paris. She cherishes each and every word she reads. Her battle with depression has led her to become an archetype of mental health and today she has managed to sensitize many with her undying efforts.
