After “Boom” anybody would have thought that ‘this girl’ was just a one-film failed attempt and will never sustain a career in Bollywood
Katrina had her acting debut with Boom roughly 15 years ago in an industry and country that she wasn’t accustomed with. We still remember that Katrina was the center of jokes and was continuously ridiculed for her acting, dancing, Hindi and accent. Initially the star had to struggle to not just find her place in an
unknown industry but also an unknown country, both to which she was an absolute outsider.
Gone are the days when she was struggling with her acting and dancing skills. All her co-stars are always in awe of her stating that she is very hardworking and extremely passionate. Katrina learnt an alien language and drastically improved upon all her skills. After “Boom” anybody would have thought that ‘this girl’ was
just a one-film failed attempt and will never sustain a career in Bollywood. Much has changed since then.
Recently the actor was asked, how did she manage to revive an already dead career and has since become one of the best actors in the country whose appeal reaches farther than anything anyone had ever anticipated. Now, Katrina doesn’t want to waste this answer by giving it in an interview, and she knows that this answer is a full-fledged book. Which is why Katrina has decided to go forward with making her writing debut. She looks very excited to pursue her book-worthy answer into a book. The answer will of course have her struggles and
successes as she went about the industry and would guide any person who is not from the industry and wants to be a part of it.
Katrina always wanted to be a movie star and just never kept any back-up plan. It was either the movies or nothing, so naturally the actor put in her 200% at achieving her goal. We eagerly await the book or at least an official word on it because what is better than a Bollywood idol writing a great piece of inspiration.
We can only have our guesses that the book will definitely contain the underlying message of how her philosophy of not having a plan-B made her strive and thrive in this industry.
